Research Analyst

Dinan Research Services Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dinan & Company, LLC. Dinan & Company is an investment banking firm that provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to both financial and strategic buyers. The firm offers services such as target identification, solicitation, evaluation, negotiation assistance, due diligence, and valuation advisory. We are seeking motivated and resourceful individuals to join our Research Center as Research Analysts/Junior Research Analysts.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner and adhere to quality standards 
• Develop and maintain relationships with Analysts and Associates across regions 
• Research perspective clients, data mine existing lead pool, use various internet sources to find matches for companies
• Actively research and maintain multiple acquisition target projects for clients
• Responsible for gathering, organizing and filtering information in an established and proven research process utilizing both secondary and primary research sources
• Prepare, maintain and manage a variety of reports including both internal and external reports
• Work closely with Senior Analysts and Managers in determining client research projects, search priority, target criteria, research scope and methodology

Basic Qualifications:

• Self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor degree required (B. COM, Economics etc.), Masters degree – PGDBM (Finance), MBA preferred
• Computer literacy including proficiency in Windows based applications (Word, Excel and Internet usage)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Understanding of Microsoft Office products, tools and utilities for business use

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with third party databases–Hoovers, Capital IQ and Dealogic 
• Interest in financial markets and familiarity with emerging business, economic and market trends 
• Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented 
• Ability and dedication to meet strict and aggressive deadlines 
• Analytical mindset with an eye for details
