Senior Associate or Vice President

Dinan Capital Advisors, a middle-market boutique investment bank in the U.S., specializing in mergers & acquisitions and private equity capital financings, seeks to hire a Senior Associate or Vice President (depending on individual qualifications and experience). Dinan Capital offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience across multiple industries and transaction types including M&A, financings, restructuring and valuations. The Senior Associate or VP will serve as point person on deal teams of 3-5 professionals, providing crucial support to senior-level bankers. You will interface directly with corporate clients, private equity firms and other institutional investors.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead Confidential Information Memorandum preparation
• Lead preparation of new business presentations
• Prepare Management Presentations for buyer visits
• Manage data room materials and access
• Lead extensive financial analysis and valuation analyses on clients and prospects, including comparable transaction and public company analysis, LBO models and DCF analyses
• Research and develop lists of potential strategic buyers, private equity investors, and other target lists
• Perform relevant industry research
• Manage transaction logistics, including: Update web-based deal and contact management systems, develop weekly client status reports, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years Mergers & Acquisitions experience at well-respected middle market or bulge bracket investment bank.  Public accounting experience, valuation experience and equity capital financing experience a plus
• MBA preferred. Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong demonstrable accounting and financial statement analysis skills required
• Strong demonstrable written and verbal communication skills required
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
• Familiarity with Capital IQ and Salesforce preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage up and down, drive completion of multiple engagements in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Series 79 and 63 licenses
• Ability to travel, as needed
• High energy, calm personality preferred
