CERCA GROUP LEADS RECAPITALIZATION OF COMPUTER ASSOCIATES, INC.

New York, New York – Cerca Group LLC (“Cerca Group”), a private investment firm based in New York City, today announced the recapitalization of Computer Associates, Inc. (“CAI” or the “Company”), a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and related services to customers in the food, lumber and building materials, precious metals refining, and jewelry manufacturing and distribution industries globally. Cerca Group led the investment group, which included CAI’s management team and Main Street Capital Corporation.

The Company announced that there would be no managerial or staff changes associated with the transaction. McCooey will remain in his current position and will become a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Norton Rose Fulbright LLP advised Cerca Group in the transaction.
