Mr. Pugh is an Associate in the Deal Origination Group, responsible for actively identifying, originating, and analyzing investment opportunities for private equity groups and corporate acquirers primarily in the industrial manufacturing & distribution, technology and business services industries.

Prior to joining Dinan & Company, Mr. Pugh was the lead business development strategist for one of the highest-producing branches at the third-largest mortgage company in the US, Guaranteed Rate. He was responsible for sourcing, building, and maintaining relationships at all levels. Before his time at Guaranteed Rate, he was a co-founder of a tech startup that bridged the gap between poor phone service and crowd density at large-scale events. He cultivated all of their strategic partnerships as well as met with investors to secure funding.
