Dallas, Texas, – Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation (SESC or the Company), one of the largest distributors of foodservice equipment in the United States, today announced the acquisition of ISI Commercial Refrigeration, L.P. (ISI). ISI is one of the largest dealer/distributors of food service equipment in Texas. Besides distributing food service equipment, ISI also provides leasing, service and parts. ISI, in operation for over 40 years, has locations in Dallas, Houston and Beaumont, Texas. ISI is primarily a cold side distributor focusing on refrigerators, freezers, ice makers and walk-in coolers. ISI represents over 75 lines with many of the leading vendors in the industry. ISI has recently focused on expanding its product offering to hot side items. In addition, ISI is the largest refrigeration service company in Texas with over 60 technicians.
ISI is headquartered in Dallas, Texas and will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic. ISI will continue to be led by its current President, Marty Monnat, an industry veteran with over 28 years in the foodservice industry. Marty and his management team have grown ISI significantly over the past several years. ISI and its management team further strengthens Strategic’s overall capabilities in Texas, one of the largest markets in the U.S., and continues to validate the confidence our equity partners have in investing in Strategic’s future, commented Jeff L.
